So, as of last night at about 5:30pm, The Wheat Pool Wailers hung up their smelly skates and awesome jerseys for the year. Sigh…
We finished the season with a near perfect record (lost every game but one). I, myself, got one assist and four penalties (none of them deserved, of course).
Now we begin the long wait until October – when we will start the wailing all over again.
